What We Are Doing to Keep You Safe.
During this time of uncertainty and turbulence, one thing remains clear: health and safety are not to be taken for granted. As of the writing of this post, the World Health Organization (WHO) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have provided guidelines to best prevent the transmission of COVID-19. As an essential business, we feel we have a certain responsibility to do everything we can to continue to provide our services while simultaneously ensuring the health and safety of our customers and staff. In accordance with the guidelines set by these health organizations, here are some highlights of what our team is doing to keep everyone safe:
Protective barriers: we have installed temporary acrylic barriers at the front of our counters to reduce the risk of airborne particles spreading to others when conducting transactions.
Frequent sanitizing: surfaces touched by customers and staff are cleaned and sanitized frequently throughout the day. This includes door handles, counters, card readers, and other items touched by our staff when handling orders.
Personal protective equipment (PPE): face masks and gloves are worn by our front staff and delivery driver as availability allows whenever coming into contact with clients.
Social distancing line: a line has been marked on the floor to promote social distancing while in our store. We ask that you remain aware of the distance you take between others in the store as well.
Drop box: using our drop box outside will eliminate the need for direct contact when dropping off orders. The drop box is also sanitized frequently.
Pickup & Delivery: we have expanded our free pickup & delivery service area to include more of our customers. As mentioned, our driver will be wearing PPE and will accommodate most special requests including non-contact service. We do not charge anything extra for this service and is encouraged if you are trying to limit your need to go out. Sign up here.
Curbside service: We will come out to your car for any drop offs or pick ups you may need. Simply inform us of your vehicle and where you are parked. We can leave your order in your trunk for you to abide by social distancing guidelines. This service also has the added benefit of not requiring direct contact if communication and payment is done over the phone.
Whichever method you decide to get service from us, our staff is ready to serve and accommodate any other requests you may have. In these unprecedented times, we are trying our best to meet the needs of all of our customers while keeping the health and safety of everyone top of mind.
